Inspiration: Love for space opera series (Star Trek, Star Wars, Babylon 5)
I was introduced to the space opera genre by my mother as a child when I watched the first Star Wars movie. She then introduced me to Star Trek.
I loved the complex storylines and solid characters that felt real and relatable. I also loved seeing alien species and humans interacting with them. I wanted to write a story that was like those series.
When it was time to debut as an indie author, Jewels became my first pick.
