2025 has not gone the way I thought it would. That applies to my personal life, work life, health, and writing life.
My personal life is slowly coming together. I have found someone that is good to me and for me, and we are taking things slow.
My work life has been a rollercoaster ride this year. I started with one job, left it, and have since transitioned to a work-from-home environment. I’m still moving and adjusting things and I’m hopeful I will finally achieve the right balance soon.
My health has been the biggest mess so far. I rang in the new year with a nasty combo of COVID and bronchitis. I’ve also been struggling with women’s health issues and am in the process of getting medical attention in that area.
As for my writing life, I admit I’m ambitious and tend to aim high. I like this method because it gives me goals to focus on. I’ve been experimenting in the serial arena with mixed results. My focus is a mess because of personal, work, and health difficulties that my writing is going in directions I didn’t anticipate. My goal is to use June to reset myself in my writing life and buckle down to achieve at least three of the goals I set for myself for 2025.
Wish me luck, oh, and I promise to work on updating my blog more frequently.
